Thank you Harry. I am sure the owners of these classic cars put a lot of time, effort and money to keep them running and looking beautiful.

Isn't it funny how we don't know how special things are until we no longer have them. Since you were a kid you probably didn't realize how nice that car you had was because there were probably quite a few of them around back then. Thanks for the photo.

Wow, they were something special, unfortunately I never owned one of those, mine was a 1949 model, I owned it when I was a kid and used to drive it around the paddocks and later the back streets (when I could sneak it out). Picture attached attached (not mine).
Regards

Very true Clay. I always seem to run into that problem and Im sure at a car show it would only be worse... You do well at it however. All your shots are very good!

I googled your 1948 Vauxhall to see what it looked like and found several different models. If you haven't seen it, check out the Vauxhall Roadster Prototype.

I would love to own more than one of these classic beauties. You would definitely be cruzin' in style.

Thank you Jan. I'm posting a 1950 Chevy today and look at the difference in style in just 2 years.

I am sure the owners of these vehicles have put a lot of time and money into their vehicles so that is why they are in such great condition. The cars back then had more style on the outside than in the cars of today. Today's cars are designed more aerodynamically and the style is focused more on the inside of the car.

Thanks for another wonderful critique Paul. The hardest thing about getting a good shot of these classics at a car show is trying to get the least amount of people in the shot as possible so you have to be very patient. You can usually get a shot without people around the car, but not much you can do about the people in the background. In this case it worked out ok.

Good details image of the old classics. I like how you composed the image with the two on the side background.
The lighting and exposure are well controlled. The image provides good story telling ability visual impact.
Good job my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Warm Regards,

Paul
