Thanks Paul. This guy went to about 4 different places while I was taking pictures of his little ones in the nest. I liked the way he looked against the textured wall also.

I looked up the Redpoll and it is in the same family of birds as this house finch. Thanks for the info and glad you liked this picture.

Nice capture of the little fellow Clay! I really love the textures the you got from the background. Nice use of lighting and well exposure. Good details and sharply focused. Funning my wife and I were just watching the same birds at our feeders....Well done my friend!

Great capture of this delightful little bird.
I know them as Redpoll's from the UK.Although they are ment to be quite common and can tolerate very cold temps. I have yet to see one in Bulgaria.Nice you shared.
