About	While driving one of the remote roads in the mountains surrounding Eureka, I had the good luck of having my camera in my hands when this old black bear appeared. A snap of one photo was all the time I had before the bear disappeared. Man is not tolerated very well by bears.

Wow!!! You sure did get lucky with this one... from the look of the expression on the bear's face, I would say he was as surprised to see you as you were to see him. Marvelous capture of this amazing and rarely seen animal!!
