Very nice shot here Harry, I love the grainy effect it really works wonders here. I also do admire the very slight touch of selective colour in the eyes, very subtle but noticable. This shot is a little scarey and reminds me of a large painting in the Christchurch art gallery, where it doesn't matter where you move it always appears that the eyes are following or looking straight at you. And finally congrats on the well deserved award.

I hope you have seen the communications at this photo and how I struggle to get that inner rejection transformed. Of course I know Yazeed loves me but I try to change , grow , and share that with my best friends. All day I sat in that dome of emotions. Even without emails ;-) it was a heavy day.

It is because of our friendship that I was confident I could state my real intention, knowing it will make the friendship more intense. The intention of publishing my image is to show that I accept myself, my fragile inner and outer side, both creating the person I accept who he is and the person that deserves all the love, support and approval in the world.
Remember I previously I removed the BiP image ?
I have grown to publish a sensitive image and see it as a victory, not failure.
So I succeeded, I did not fail because I had no intention to display me as a bad man. Note: positive words are very important to me. Words as failures I reject, as part of my work to heal myself and approve myself.

you have shown a shot of a man face,that is very black and dark,with a lot of noise,and taken from an abnormal angle,sent it for comments and for viewing.
One man saw the shot,and all what he understood from the shot is that the photographer want to show the man in the shot as a not good guy,but he fails,because the viewer knows this man is a good one,
and he the viewer is not very good in expressing his self in a different language of his own,so he post the following to the photographer:
you have failed to change the expression of this good man into an evil man,he says also though the shot is very complex,but the man is very simple,and he is a good man (right)
damn the language barrier between the friends,
Harry,you have to separate between the photographer and the man in the portrait,
what our friend have told you,that the photographer have failed to show the man in the shot as a bad one,
