Thanks so much Joe.. This ranch is a full working ranch and the bull sale is the bread and butter for them. There is much behind the scenes work involved in breeding and caring for these animals in this harsh winter environment. The sale was really fun to capture and talk to the buyers as well. Be well, Stan

Thanks Harry, it was a fin day watching the process of all the ranchers trying to decide which ones they were interested in. They went into the pens of the bulls and walked up to and around them. They were looking at there body type and there disposition around the other bulls. The auction was very well run and the food was excellent. Be well, Stan

Thanks Ray, I was walking around before the sale and was inspecting the bulls. This guy just cracked me up. I was shooting into the morning sun and black cows are a real trick against the snow for exposure. I was thrilled to get this as good as I did, so glad you caught my sense of humor. Be well, Stan

Thanks Dave, these were some very high quality bulls. Many people buy bulls at this sale every year and some of the blood lines are sought after by people all over the world. As more and more people of the land are being forced out of business with high operating cost and low market prices, inheritance tax issues and lack of true support I wonder where the quality off found will come from. I am thankful for these ranchers and breeders that are trying to hold on and keep the industry in the hands of the small operators. They are a wonderful group of people trying to not be absorbed by corporate interest. Be well, St5an
