Shirley,
OK...Expose for highlights and use your histogram to see where your highlights and shadows fall. You've been shooting chrome, so it should come easy to you!

Shirley,
One of my best pieces of advice is when using a digital camera is to be sure to turn it off before changing lenses. The sensor discharges and is less likely to attract dust.
Best of Luck, Terry

Well, that is the reason I got the D80, to save all that money on film and processing.:) But I've been shooting film for so many years, and know what to expect from it, whereas, the digital is a whole new world.:)

Shirley,
Film has/is serving you well. You have much more patience than I and perhaps a much faster computer as well to do so much scanning. I'd be shootng more film if I could afford it. I love my FM and F100 more than my D200! I miss shooting Fujifilms too. They are so satisfying.
Cheers, Terry

That's okay, Terry...I'm used to some of my other friends who don't speak English so well saying 'wonder' instead of 'wonderful', so I didn't even notice.:)

I'm so sorry you've been sick, but glad to hear you're feeling better. You are very welcome! Yes, I have a Nikon D80, but haven't used it a lot, plus I have thousands of slides that I need to scan.:)

Shirley,
I've been sick for quite a few weeks and now I feel well enough to walk around my neighborhood. I'll be able to do more non-Godzilla related photgraphy. :)
Thank you for all your comments and wonder imaging.
Do you have a digital camera?
Cheers, Terry
