About After a week of rain and flu, a trip to the Zoo was needed.
This lion was enjoying the sun as much as we were... He only peeked to see what that clicking sound was.

He looks pretty fit for a lion that's just had a week of rain and flu! (Well, I guess he had the rain, anyway...) The detail is wonderful.

Mate, that's a pleasure! Any time! I just think the eyes can make or break an animal image. I just adjusted the levels, saturation and contast in Photoshop, using the lasso tool.

Take care!

Do you have MSN? If you do, e-mail me on Phil@awesome-earth.com

Cheers

Hi Phil!
How are you!?! Hope all is well.
I have to agree with you, the brighter eye does help and somehow brings out a catchlight (I didn't have my strobe with me)!!! Thanks for the tip. I was planning on making a print and your tip certainly came at a perfect time. I was wondering what was lacking on this image and you just solved it for me!
THANK YOU!

Hey, Jinggoy! How are you mate?

I love this image - it's a great shot.

The only think that I'd change would be to bring out the eyes a bit. I had a quick fiddle in Photoshop.

See what you think.

Cheers

Phil
