About Thanks to Joel and Peta, I've re-worked the shot for the better. As Joel had suggested, I cloned out the tiny bit of black bra peeking out of the side as well as darkening the overall shot. For Peta, I reduced the amount of diffusion on her face to make it less 'Photoshoppy'

Hey Paul,

Thanks for posting the original - Now being able to compare the two, I think the retouching you did does make the photo a whole lot better.

I do like the original crop too, though - the matching red pumps make the model look a bit more vulnerable, and even more out of place in her surroundings, which I think creates a strong contrast, and makes this photo intriguing / fascinating, if you see what I mean. It's more difficult to decide between the two crops than between the removal of the bra.

Cheers,

Hugo

I like the tension and drama in her expression.. the warm tones work for me and that dress pops like fireworks in this image..

Excellent! Vibrant colors, dreamy soft focus and high contrast between the model, her dress, and the ruins. Well done.

Ah, for the master (that would be you, Hugo), I pull back the curtain to reveal the original, unprocessed photo before it was cropped or shopped:

Hi Paul,

I think you have an outstanding way with your models - the poses are sensuous, yet elegant, and I think the surroundings / scenery complement their beauty extremely well.

I'm curious to see what changes you made - photoshop is a great tool, but can be easily overdone....

Cheers,

Hugo

Yeah, I'd debated desaturating the wall a bit, but opted for an overall intensity that is diminished when that's done.

Thanks for the keen eye and the suggestions.

Awesome Paul.

This looks great! Curious what you thought about the reduction, and contrast curves? For me, the bricks still look at little too warm for her dress and skin tone. No matter what, this is the best image in her portfolio, and one of the best in yours!

Cheers Paul, nice work!

I like the contrast between the model's tender beauty, and the roughness of the rubble around her. The expression showing dismay looks sincere.. Well done :)
