About Originally shot on B&W Infrared film. Later coloured in PS. I like the deep shadowed areas. Makes for an almost eerie "what's in there?" kind of effect...(in my opinion, anyway...)

Thank you Mary. I'm pleased you feel about this image the way I wished to "convey" it. It works for some, not for others. That's the way with everything in Life. :)

Warm appreciation of your kind comments, my friend.

Your friend,

Now this definitely has an immediate intrigue. The mystery and the feel of it wonderful.

I always respect and admire you Dave.

I appreciate your comments and my heart is not so little :) In fact, it's huge! Just look at my REAL surname (no kidding... Heart is my REAL surname.... ) Don't ever be afraid of breaking it.... my heart, that is! :)

I have a great love of infrared... and I don't know why I posted this particular version of a good shot (infrared straight was pretty fine IMO)

I am having probs with my scanner and was frustrated and began playing. This is not my favourite version of the image. Just posted it.

I never expect high praise for anything I do.

It was not good as a colour shot but nice in btw... I actually feel, in retrospect that a straight B&W shot would have done it justice... thems the breaks! I have another version of same which is in B&W but still from same sanned print (in fact many...) I was going to post it, but am in two minds about it.

More Love to Ya!
Ani :)

I think Ipve said this before. I'm not a fan of infrared. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I hope I don't break your lovely little heart, A, but I think this would be very cool in straight up film instead of infrared. Especially in color. But then I don't know the colors of the place, either. Could be they were drab and best shot in B&W, too.

In any event, from an otherwise standpoint, I like the shot.

Best wishes
Dave

Hi Colin!

Thanks, mate. Yeah, that's how I guess I saw this version of it... a bit surrealistic. It's just a bit of fun really.

Thanks for your comments. Always appreciated.

Ani :)

Hi Paul!

Nah, it doesn't work for everyone. I have several variations of this same shot. This was today's choice.
I don't expect everyone to love all my images or PS work.

I always appreciate and respect your comments, Paul.

Warm Thanks,
Ani :)

An interesting and surreal effect that you have achieved with that image,Ani. A bit like in a dream state.
