Heather, I think the lighting makes this shot. I really like Anindya's crop though. It draws my eye to the backlit bottle which really enhances the mood and environment.

Very cozy and inviting - and obviously expensive. Ya get to pay for that decor ;)
Question: Was it a deliberate choice to line the edge of the furniture up with the edge of the wall? I almost wish you had taken a half step to the right, to break that line up.
On the whole, very nice ...

Heather, I rated your photo a little low in my hormone affected gut reaction and I wanted to say I'm sorry. I've looked at this photo again and it fits its title. it is very cozy. I wish the lighting were a little brighter, but it is still a neat photo. I'm sorry about the low rating and wish I could change my rating because the photo is better than I first realized. Plus, I am not a professional in many ways (shoot for a newspaper, but still learning about lighting as seen by my photo posted today) and do not know enough about photography to comment too much on lighting, etc.
