oddly enough, i have no problem with the contrast,I like the pastel colors.... mine is with the frame --wrong color..., but I do agree with previous that bottom could be cropped some

I agree about the contrast... EXCEPT if that's what you were going for!
More contrast changes the picture significantly... it also gives it a different mood. What mood were you trying to achieve? The less-contrast photo has a very moody, grey, depressive feel to it. Is that what you were going for?
Personally, I'd prefer a little more contrast.

Andrew, I agree with Chris. The clouds would stand out a lot more, and the clouds for me are the best part of the photo. I wouls also crop a little off the bottom to extract the slightly distracting foreground. This would turn a good picture into a great dramatic one. Well done.

Andrew,
Very nice comp but I have a problem with the grey cast the picture has. It looks very washed out and need more contrast. Was this scanning from a print or a negitive? If this was scanned from a print then maybe you need to look at a different lab to do your printing.
If this shot had more contrast it would be great.
