Ina, perfect one and I'm sure I've seen the guy before - I can recognize the missing headlight and the luster on the left side. Good year I would say - the tires are still fine too, he's almost ready to go on again. In my understanding the rust is considered as a senior noble thing here the same as the gray hear for others.

I saw them after you mentioned the interior! Very good shots, full of mood. I have a bit of a truck interior from a ghost town in Nevada, not as good.

Hi Ina,
No... you don't want to upset an old farmer!
Luckily I was on good terms with the farmer that owned a lot of the old farm trucks in my portfolio.
Two more of my favourites from the same shoot as the other one you looked at are interior shots of that truck. "30-40-50-mph" and "Through the Glass Darkly"

Thanks Andre, great idea, but I don't think I could get inside without asking permission, these were photographed from the street more or less. They're on someone's property, and I've been "escorted off" before, I don't think I'd do that again :)

The PS coloration really matches the subject of aged and weathered metal. The tighter crop is more imposing - I like it!

Wonderful old workhorse, full of photo opportunities. (Don't neglect the inside, if you get a chance to go back!)
This one is so very similar to my old favourite 39 International :)

Good details here Ina! Once again, the tones are so well suited for your subject matter! My cousin has a "burial field" of old trucks and equiptment. You are making me feel like a need to get down there and get some shots! Hmmm...maybe when we get some sun!

Hi Peta and thanks for your comment! I had to crop really tight - otherwise the grass in front was very nice and plenty. Too bad the max. ht. is 600 pixels, it makes me crop more than I'd like to :)

Thanks again Dave, I had to crop this one really tight to show it in pano, the original has more sky and ground, there was great scenery behind it, but then I'd lose some details with a more generous crop. I'm looking forward to seeing yours!
