Hi Debarshi, I believe that you first have to remove the image and then repost - that will be one of the daily allowance of images. You also lose any commenst for the original image. Kind Regards

Thankyou for taking all the trouble and pointing out and marking the dust spots on my picture. Can I remove the spots and post this same image on usefilm in place of the original photo ? if yes, how do I go about it?

good shot. Thanks for your comment. If you were pointing out the spot like shines on the tree, those are refleclections of the sun rays falling on the leaves. If you can pls show me the spots so that i can remove them. I have removed some spots already. Thank you.

Well of course I did use PS to add the border - but no - this is a scan from the original 35mm slide (circa 1975)and is quite accurate. BTW your portfolio is very diverse - AND interesting.
All of my images are as close to REAL as I can remember- there is always a need to "adjust" when scanning and from digital images. But you know that already. I worked professionaly in the photofinishing industry and know just how bad some printers are - I make notes on the day of the original photography as an aid to my memory, as to what the colours/contrast should be. Even so - landscape images are very subjective. In printmaking we have all heard stories of the guy who went to a lot of trouble to remove the green cast from the picture of the French Poodle, only to be berated by the owner "What have you done to my green dyed dog" ?. It's happened to me :-) But I do try to get my lanscapes as accurate as I can.
As to your portfolio comment "I don't do Weddings" - well at least with weddings and portraits you can always go back and compare skin tones (unless the groom has has a few to many Fosters).

Jim ! What a passion - and thanks for your comments. Better make plans to drive that tractor here. Coz Tasmania is a really beautiful place. Australia too, the difference is that Tasmania has so much in such a small area. Where I live , Westbury - its 3 hours drive N S E or West to get to any coast. At most its 5 hours into the South West Wilderness Parks.I am truly blessed. I to like finding objects and seeing what others look past. If you want to see more of Tassie ( and a little of New Zealand) www.yourtasmania.com/david enjoy

Yes...yes...yesssss....great macro! And about that tractor that wants ta fly...sure! I'll sell it to ya for $500.00...it ain't mine...and man, if your country is anywhere near as beautiful as your photos...I'll steal the dang thing and drive it there. This macro is what I live for in photogray. A simple, plain all-around-us object...that no one ever looks at. Brilliant! That does look like a water (not air) valve...hmmm...still wonderful! I am off to see more of your work. Well, it's work if you hate it, I guess I mean to say I am off to see more of your love.

I also posted a sunrise shot from a different farm dam taken the following day. This picture is taken about 100m along the Paradise road from the "T" junction of Sheffiled/Gowrie Park Road. Now - no more giving away directions to my photo stops - you will just have to find your own next visit. :-)
