Clever! I'd have erased what's between the faces and arms. That way, mirroring would be subtler, IMHO.

I know how hard is to get a decent picture wich such system. And this one is much better than decent...

great colors and sky, but I think the mill is way too close to the border and I see the horizon a bit slant.

Don Quixote said: "non fuyades, cobardes y viles criaturas, que un solo caballero es el que os acomete" ("Fly not, cowards and vile beings, for a single knight attacks you!").

Regards!

I really like it! But I think it would be even better if the walker was getting in, not out, the frame.

The white thing on the left is not a bus nor a trailer, Christine! It's a building. But, it's true, it seems a vehicle here!

Hi, Phil! Please, never mind your "cloned" comments on my photo. This photo is just wonderful. And your portfolio seems more than promising... I'm going to find a while to look at it.
Best regards!!

Hi, Teunis. I think the Dutch office of tourism should pay you a fairly good amount...

No filters were used. It's a long exposure photo, taken a while after the sunset. I pushed the colors with PS.

I think the light is too harsh for such subject. The 5700 is also capable of better sharpness.
Overall, good effort.

Hello, Frédéric

I'm replying to your question here, if you don't mind (I'm not at home, so I cannot access my POP3 mail...).
The lines in "Rodchenko's Daisy" were made after rotating the image 3 degrees. Then I ramdomly cloned the white corners all around the border. Very simple, in fact.
I hope you are able to figure the process.
Regards!

It's a bit fuzzy (the scanner, maybe?), but the composition and colors are great.

How this was done:

The drops are really rain ones. No PS at all, but a little of color boosting. I took this on my kitchen window glass. The background is an artificial red flower I put there just to take the picture. I waited till the sun appeared amongst the clouds for better light. That's all.

Best regards!

I actually find very nice the shallow DOF.

Great still life, Gerhard!

Here you have my photo settings:

ExposureTime : 1/750Sec
FNumber : F8,0
ISOSpeedRatings : 100
FocalLength : 15,00(mm)

I didn't use any filter, the sky was wonderfully self-polarized that evening, but, moreover, I ran a multiply layer over the sky.

Best regards!
