Well I know that is no sky writer. It appears to be a military jet of some sort.

Very creative PS work I would say.

There was no wind indeed for this shot. The plants are all in complete focus especially for a 5 second shutter speed. The muted light worked completely in your favor and the stream of water is gorgeous.

Congratulations and happy shooting with your new camera. You're off to a great start.

7+!

Superb!

I have seen images of this place on usefilm before. However, I have never seen it captured with people in the background which really lets the viewer see how large the "Angel of the North" is.

Perflectly seen in B & W and the sky was perfect on this day. 7+!

The East and West Mitten Buttes must be some of the most photographed amoung those at Monument Valley.

Excellent range of colors and composed perfectly.

Excellent light on the rock formation. The dramatic look of the sky adds so much to this image as well.

The scenery is just beautiful any way that it is captured. I do prefer the extended exposure and the look of the water as it flows in a steady stream. The stop action photo gives me the sence of actually being there and seeing the falls as they would naturally appear. Glad you took Kim's advice in posting this one.

I must say the two of you have photographed some beautiful places during the past year in your travels. Great shot of Rob. I like the sharp detail of the rock that he is on and the background with the trees and snow.

The colors are superb. Love the rich tones of the canyon. Looks like the water level is continuing to drop in the area by the water on the left of the image.

Looks like the sky is perfect here. I remember when you posted another image simliar to this one the sky was quite overcast and not very appealing to the image. Here the blue sky and clouds look wonderful. It's a shame this image doesn't show the whole "horseshoe bend" of the river, but I can see why you shot it this way. The foreground of the canyon and the the open sky really give the feeling of the land and how big this area is.

Superb! 7+!

Sounds like you were waiting for the snowfall to arrive for sometime. Beautiful image of the blanket of snow and the deers. I can imagine how beautiful it must be to go through this area.

Best wished for the Holidays and the New Year!

It's amazing how different and image looks just by cropping it. I like both, but I think I prefer the first version you uploaded.

Both are great - just a personal preference.

Merry Christmas!

WOW the lights looks great on this house. I love the lights on the tress and that they used a solid green color throughout the tree rather than mixing up the colors.

Is that car driveable? Gotta love the car. I can just see that car crusing the streets of Arizona.

Beautiful illumination of the tree from the lights.

Excellent exposure!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
