I'm happy to hear it was a controlled fire. It would be a shame if it were a wild fire. Beautiful composition, Bren.

Good composition and it's nice the way the eye is drawn through the landscape to the amazing cloud formations. A slightly warmer light and/or a little more foreground interest would have made it unbeatable.

Great job bren, with the rock formations and the beautifully bruised sky this shot seems surreal. Are those fomations common in the area?

Hi Bren, Awesome capture of the barren landscape. The sky adds alot to the composition, creating a very well balanced image. Good use of shadows and light, too. I like the distance cue towards the mountains in the background. Very good shot.
Cheers,
Hugo

Great image, fabulous light and using all my favourite techniques - ND grads and hyperfocal distance. I think it might have been possible to make a different and equally strong shot by getting down closer to the foreground rocks to increase their prominence.
