The colours and composition are nice.......I think it could do with a bit more focus though.

I find that expresionless portraits are the most powerful. This lovely shot proves that.

The woman's age, her clothing, the reel of yarn all go together to create an image of a very old traditional culture. A truly great example of a picture painting a thousand words.

You done well to get him while he was looking directly at you. It makes his eyes the center of attention. I think they could have been a little more in focus though.

A nice crisp portrait.....good expression....not bad lighting for a built in flash.

This is a nice shot. The curve in the light stream together with the reflection in the water on the road make it very interesting.

I think you've done a good job capturing her with no expression. It really gives it that 'special moment' feel.

I was going to say the same as Mirek but I scrolled down and saw that he beat me to it. I'd forget about that filter for this type of portrait. Try re-shooting the little movie star without it.

I commented on this 15 min ago but it seems to have disappeared. The colour looks good on my screen. Really great capture. She's definitely got potential that girl.

If you've got a recent version of PS you might try the 'shadow/highlight' tool. It'll tone down your sun a tad and lift the boat as well.

It looks very flat Shaun. I've had a bit of a play with to try for a more dramatic impact. See what you think.
