Thank you Carol. I was trying to experiment more with post-processing, and I found the radial blur worked quite nicely, though I had to recentre the shot to make it work.

Your feedback's always appreciated, thank you.

Thanks Dave. You're probably right, it was mostly an experiment, but it's probably a little too over the top. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks Alison. I wasn't sure if it would work, it was mostly an experiment in some PS techniques more than anything else.

This is a neat shot. I wouldn't want to ask him to gas up the car.........................Opal

Thank you for your nice comment about my photo

Beautiful composition, the way you have given this an out of focus and a painting feel lends to the tiredness in this player, very nice. Alison

Thanks Tiro, I didn't even think of that. The only change I made was on the light levels, I probably should have done more. Your idea's a good one, and it would be good practice for my photoshop skills.

this is truly a great capture. A very happy moment, and the joy in her eyes is splendid. i would have used photoshop (or another toool) to blur out the T-shirt in the background more, the "buffalo" mark is a bit distracting, but this is just nitpicking. :-)

Thanks for the feedback. An interesting idea you had there, I can see what you mean. I'm surprised the image came out so well. It's a surprisingly clean look to the river, it often looks very brown (the mud gets stirred up constantly and never gets a chance to settle).

Yes, she's certainly happy, I'm glad I managed to capture it so candidly. No, her name's Amelia, probably should have mentioned that. But the emotion is so open and frank, which is always nice to see.

Interesting shot, before I read your description i though the darker area was where the river turned and this gave me the feeling of the water pulling you around the bend. Interesting to see the type of metal dock being used to reach these boats, beautiful lighting and great capture from a car. Alison

Thanks for the feedback Alison. I've taken your suggestion and edited so it is in the blurry image project. To be truthful, this is one of the first images I ever really photo'd, certainly in the first dozen or so. I find it fascinating how the fire can seem so liquid and fluid. The heart shapes are a lucky touch though, not sure how that happened

A beautiful capture and great composition . It should have gone in the blurry image project. I like how he is out of fucus but with still enough detail to see the expression, the twist and turns of the fire are amazing, even heart shapes flying off the left top. Alison

Thanks Alison, good suggestion there. I wasn't sure if it would help or not, probably should have taken the shot a bit higher so the car is less obvious. And thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.

I like this alot, but I think I would have cropped out the inside of the car in the foreground, You have great lights going in all the directions leading your eye back to the center focal point. Alison

Great experimental shot! The only thing I don't
like is that fact that the feet are cut off..otherwise ot would be perfect in everyway!

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I'm still trying to plug those holes in the curtains though, makes it hard to sleep in on the days you want to! But there's always some crack it gets through, no matter how hard I try.

Thanks. The angle wasn't entirely by choice, not much you can do on the back seat of a car with the camera on a monopod, and you can't twist in your seat to see what you're shooting at. Blind luck, mostly

Thanks Carol! I probably shouldn't admit this, but I hadn't intended to take this shot, I'd only intended to focus and prep for a different one
