Excellent capture, absolutely loved it. My appeal was the time exposure, allowing some of the blue in the twilight to show trough. I've taken a few of those myself. Congrats, Dave :)

Excellent capture. My first thought of this was from a movie, The Caine Mutiny, where the young Ensign was on holiday with his girl in Yosemite, and at sunset they poured fire over a canyon wall. All the best, Dave :)

Thanks for your comments Jan, I took about 120 that night and got about 15 decent shots. They are challenge and a lot of fun, only if you can fight off the Michigan national bird, THE MOSQUITOS !!!!

Interesting you said that, he was walking around on all fours a moment before, my wife said she heard me talking through the viewfinder, "C'mon, stand up nice and pretty for me" and viola !
