hola TR,
yes, i really love this camera...for all the reasons you stated. i only wish i had made the jump earlier. as for the noise on this one, i used Neat Image which is a free NR program. i don't know if it's the best out there or not, but it works well enough for me. i'm looking forward to those star trails!

yes, this is a nice one! love the sky and the strange shapes on the beach...looks like another world. it'd be fun to really mess with the colors and take it a step further...great work Moises.

nice one Larry...i can picture exactly the sculpture this came from. makes for a fine abstract.
to answer your question, i walked by the building this morning and it is an Allina clinic of some sort. not a hospital proper, but close.

i think you're definitely right about the colors with the new cam. i don't know if it's a matter of a larger lens, or larger CCD, but the end result is much more sensitive to reality than the coolpix was.
Entroducing is one of my faves too...great album.

hi Mark...thanks for looking. this is one that i walked past about 100 times before it dawned on me to get a photo...it's in the parking ramp of my apartment. i shot it just in time though, cause they just cleaned and repainted, giving it a bit less character. adios!
