i wonder if increasing the contrast may give this a little more life. the compo and DOF are really great, and i actually kind of like the lighting on his eye. very interesting portrait. nice work.

excellent shot! i love the overlapping squiggles...is this a multiple exposure? i'm not sure how the vertical line formed. great result nonetheless...boosting the contrast a bit might give it a little more life too. well done David.

 Thanks Michael! i really do like the D70 a lot. it may be because i've used nikons in the past, but i find it very easy to use and change settings quickly. i am much happier with the images i'm getting now too...i can't wait to print a few and see how they look on paper.

nicely done Gayle. this is really a gorgeous work, lovely art indeed. nature as one, no differentiating between human and plant. i like it. whatever you did to soften the female body down to just the essentials is great too...almost looks painted.
