Great capture mate, love the lines in this... Do you have one with the mouth in it?
What speed was that at, was it taken at F5.7?

An excellent series Rupert.
You've got to love those layers of mist just below the tree tops. Good timing for the shots.

Very moody atmosphere. I like the layered depth in this photo a lot. Cooling down the tone a bit might add a bit of crispness to the scene, I think. Strong photo, though.

Excellent catch. Specially I really like the perspective. Hilly layer with the dense fog creats kind of mystery, dream or poem. I love the ambiance.

Dear Rupert!

Subject matter here is very appealing indeed. Not just the Fairy Tale Tree, but the wonderful old stone wall... I like the tones you have used, but the highlights seem "burnt out"... (too white and glary). This might only be on my screen, which is one problem of viewing any images on a computer.

Overall, I am very fond of this picture and thank you for sharing.

Best Wishes,
Aniko :)

Rupert,

This is a really unique shot with this style of lighting. Excellent shot and composition. The thought of changing the light balance or tones would be a mistake. Great work and congrats on a wonderful shot.

Ok, it's dark. But i noticed it between the thumbnails. In my opinion, the color of the bird is just right. Enhancing the brightness would result in unnatural looking color.

Hi Rupert,
The composition is lovely but it is far too dark my dear, it needs a bit of fiddling in brightness and contrast. I hope you don't mind me telling you this,it is a nice photo but it doesnt show up at all in the thumbnails.
