Thank you for the comment. I believe it's a Great Blue Heron but don't quote me on that I'm not much of a naturalist. I just that the bird was wonderful contrast to the swans in the background.

Horse races is a great subject to shot but is very dificult do it whit a DSC 707 I own one of this cameras since last year. You can get great pictures but action shot is a hard job whith a DSC 707.I can geat my better action pictures whit this camera whit manual ajustement.

Thanks for the comment. Palau is a small island nation/republic in Micronesia. Near Guam in the Philippine Sea. I hope to return there soon.
