Beautiful colors and great lighting. The silhouette really looks great especially with the fence in front of her. Keep up the good work.

I like this real life portrait, turtles, eels, who knows what?.... It's not something you see everyday, unless you are Ms Anny Ho.

Great abstract with nice lighting Philip! The ice cubes at the bottom are a great touch.

good point about the crop, sadly the choice of lens did not allow me to do much else. I was not set up for taking this shot since i was in the middle of photographing another subject.

Hi Philip, Love the sight of this Big One. I'll be admiring that view next week.... Great shot, the haze adds to the atmosphere of the city, and emphasises the beam of light emerging from the top beautifully. Great capture!

Cheers,

Hugo

Paul,

well old bean the large format camera would not fit into my rucksack! ;-) besides that shot took me ohhhhhh around 30 seconds to set up as opposed to old age creeping in whilst trying to balance out the light meter readings !!! LOL must admit though a large 10x8 plate would have been lovely jubbly to say the least.

Very nice night shot!!! Great colors, good composition...!! I really like it that you've captured that ferry... it makes the shot more interesting and adds depth.... well done!!! BTW I took the liberty to crop the shot a bit (and framed it)... the blue light on the left side edge was a bit distracting IMOH and a 'panoramic' crop seems more fitting... I hope you don't mind...let me know what you think... ;-D!!

Hello all, thanks for your comments, this shot was hand held, the shutter speed was actually 1/8th second, sorry got wrong setting on description.

I wonder if they intended for it to be so suggestive? I like the soft diffusness of the illunination but it does seem a little out of level?

Beautiful shot, but it seems to lack detail. Was a tripod used or was this shot taken on the water?

Correct me if I am wrong. Wouldn't it have helped if the shutter speed wasn't as low as 1s?

Thanks

Love the effect you managed to capture here - it's as though the people we superimposed onto the shot with that action and the lighting giving off a side-halo effect. Great shot. Welcome to Usefilm Philip.
