You don't often see an Aurora in TO with your light pollution. They are amazing to see, aren't they? I do not have an Aurora picture, yet as I just got my camera at Christmas time. I'm hoping. You have captured the essence of this Aurora. Don't be so hard on yourdelf with your comments.

Nice monotonic picture. I like the sephia-like appearance of this [snowy?] driveway. Gives the sense of calmness....

This has a nice soft winter feel to it. Love the tree and all it's web like shapes.

no PS.. only scanning settings to get the colours right. And as you can see the colour of the sky is not right.. its a bit too warm.

Very good shot, Daria. Wonderful light and... we can see stars! What do you mean "bit soft", water really soft, and it's great. You capture this view excellent. Just dust...do you use PhotoShop? It's very easy take off.
Welcome to Usefilm.
Warm regards,
Lena

thanks, I never thought the day shot idea, and now its too late as all leaves are dead hehe... once we get some snow here Im going to make some very DEAD looking pictures in the area (you know windless cold with a little stream, snow cracking under your feet, only thing you hear is your breathing and the little stream once u stop...). I have some great subjects for the above description like a bridge etc. Last year I walked through this park every day(almost noone around) and always wanted to do some shots...

Looks great! try putting a black border on it in PS to bring it out more. Could also work as a day time shot.

Forgot to mention that the white surrounding makes it hard to see details... please send an email to suggestions@usefilm.com and ask for a dark background for better viewing. Thank you!

First time in my life I saw them. Was a lot dimmer then it shows in the picture.. thats why I had super long exposures and push processed. Problem was super high velocity wind that did not allow the tripod to stay perfectly still => not sharp buildings (and the building is tilted hehe .. but I like it that way)

I have to say that I could only dream of catching a view like this in life, much less on camera. Spectacular.

I really like this one. I love night shots the best, but they are very tricky. But when you have them just right........perfection. Nice job.
