It was very hard for the position this spider was in to get the shot. If it was film camera i never would have got it. thanks for the comment Valerij

Very patient creatures the spiders are. They can wait for their supper for quite a time. And not very easy subjects for macro shooting if one wants to catch the spider and the background at the same time.

Better than a lot of slow-speed water shots but the camera or tripod seems to have moved because the rocks behind lack sharpness.
Regards, Tony
BTW I was just reading on Dpreview that apertures over f16 can cause softness;if this is true then an ND filter plus f8 or f11 would be better.

Beautiful tones and composition. It immediately reminded me of the last paragraph in "A river runs through it", by Norman Maclean. You capture his beautiful words.

Kev

Shaun,
Very beautiful underwater image, but I agree with Sunset Man, perhaps a crop just below those stems at the top, showing great purple bokeh--still a great image

Thanx,
Almax

Is this Sub-Terranian and if so does Sony really have an Underwater Housing for that line of Cameras? At any rate, I would crop out the top part because it is slightly distracting allowing the viewer to concentrate more on the very well portrayed Unique Plant Life ... Yes/No?
