Great capture, I find it kind of ironic and slightly humourous even though it was not meant to be. The black & white adds to the gritty journalist feel.

Excellent street shot and love the setting you chose. It's too bad you didn't use a Grad ND filter, as the sky is overexposed and alittle distracting. Keep up the good work.

Dk, I did not get any grants yet unfortunately. However, I think that there are lots available for college students. Also he should probably enter one of the thousands of art contests theres a list online called the Artists Deadline directory. It has a listing of lots of contests going on nationwide. Those usually give quite a bit of money. Nice picture by the way!
