I really like the perspective on this. The wide and short ratio works very well giving this little guys a real sense of the outdoors, Too often bird shots that are cropped to standard width/height look like they are in a cage

Indeed. I'd hardly recognise it as yours without The Trademark Twigs (T3, TM, R).

Nice shot. Maybe a bit hot on the white belly of the beast.

All of the above. Beautiful capture. I might have tried to desaturate the purple backround some.
My harbor seal was far away. Used a 400mm lens and blew up a part of the image.

Really strong "Twigman" image as usual. Consider cropping right; behind the birds tail, and start the frame there. Nice to see you again Twigman

nice and sharp in a natural setting...only wish the background were just a bit more neutral in color...excellent detail and colors in the bird...the new growth sprouting is added interest...the only nit I really have is the left side of the image...there appears to be too much clutter from the spent stems...if you use any type of image editing software you might consider removing that to give a nice clean flow to your beautiful diagonal...also, if it were my image, I might consider converting to black and white with all the good contrast here...excellent shot IMO

Pretty bird! Nice sharp colors, cool background color especially. I like the composition. It has enough twigs. Maybe too many.
