Wow. What an eyefull of color! Nice abstract. Those colors just shine, they are so bright.

Hi Thomas

If I had to choose one of the three pictures out of this serial, I would choose this one.

Maybe I would crop it a lot, make a frame around it and publish it under the abstract pictures ...

Best wishes, my brother heart, Urs

Wonderful image my friend! Great colors and details! I like so much the contrast to the "two skyes", the real one, light soft blue, and the one in the reflection, rich powerful blue! Beautiful mountains reflection, very well composed!
All the best..Ale

Oh, and I think there's a slight dust spec on your sensor on the left you might need to take care of...

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Thomas,

The textures in both the glass and the tiles have been expertly captured, and I like the lighting, the combination of refraction and reflection is nice, but also the placement of the highlights emphasises the shape of the bottle nicely.

I do think that either the lighting is a bit hard, or the contrast could be reduced a notch; the highlights on the top of the vase are a bit blown out.

Just curious, have you considered using a stronger diagonal composition with the flask and its shadow, and using an even surface? I think thet might balance the composition a bit more, the current overview looks a bit cluttered to me.

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi
The shadows are created by different distances and temperatures of the three lamps

Hi
Thanks - the moody look is the result of the mist, the trre just stands on the limit between fog and sun ....

Brrrrrrrr, now this one says "winter" to me.

I wish there was more contrast between the white and the blue, but I do not know how to do that except to have more light when shooting the white on blue.

I like the diagonal line of trees marching off into the distance. This leads my eye into the back of the picture adding interest to the scene.

I love this! I have to try it now.

The shadows on the white background look really cool. Very artsy.

Very nice. This brings back memories of skating out in the open on a lake when we were kids.

I like the color surrounded by all the grey. I seldom like images where there is some color and the rest black and white, but on this photo it works very very well.

Hi

I'm very pleased somebody saw lots of the reflections I put in to the picture - and it makes me proud that it was a really good photographer!

Sometimes I really have a similar feeling as you - it counts more to know people then to supply quality!

Yes, I darkened the shirt, but by using only the already existing shadows only. I also lightened the background just to make the spectators visible but not dominant.

This is definitely a WOW. Everyone must be intimidated by your photographic abilities and so no comments.

Good action shot. I am enthralled by the curves in his body shape and the curves along the barrier of the skate park.

The use of negative and positive space are so intricately intertwined by shape, but the colors of the subject make him stand out in excellent contrast to his darker background.

And then there is the diagonal placement of the subject in the photo to make it even more dynamic. Plus the tension of seeing him almost in that sideways position and just waiting for him to fall. Oh No!

There are the viewers of the action in the background, also making me feel like I might be one of them, only on the other side of the action.

Plus the shadow to outline the fact that his feet are off the wall!

I could go on and on. What a great capture! Sharpness showing up details even in the white shirt. I wonder if you darkened the shirt a bit to bring out detail more?

Ah.... Hard to forget with the horrible weather of the last few days around here. Quite a bit of noise, but other than that a fine image, and a good eyecatcher. I like it!

Mit der Schärfe und mit dem Kontrast, da hapert's ein bisschen, etwas ganz ungewohntes bei einem von Deinen Bildern ...

A superb capture, Thomas. The birds seem to be having a private conversation. The colors of the birds and the branch they are are quite nice. The composition is very nice, as well. I like the all the branches, they provide nice context and added interest. The only aspect I think can be improved is the background color, or tone, or both. I don't think the background shows the birds off at their best. There are any number of ways to go about this. One is to simply darken the background. I made a very rough example below. Another is to alter the color somehow, and play with the cntrast.
It's well worth spending a few minutes on it, I think.
