how is my favorite sister-in-law doing? Thank you so very much for the post card! It was beautiful! I'll have to look for a Hamilton, NEW JERSEY post card to send back to ya! It won't be as beautiful and it'll probably include a landfill or something! Put Garret to work-make sure his "honey do" list is long for his 2 weeks off! Talk to ya soon. Love you.

You know, I've wondered why it took someone so long to comment on this photo. I have to say that your critique is dead-on, even if you are partially biased. It really is a simple photo; one that could have been taken of anyone at any time. It makes me wonder what was he looking at; what element of the landscape in front of him deserved such intense focus and study. But its Garret's ruggedness, his unshaven face and good looks that makes this photo truly what it is to me-my favorite as well.

this is by far my favorite photo on your page. the quality is great, but i think the subject matter is what makes it so superb.

Hi Dave, the light in this shot makes the photo. Well captured and exposed, as the details in the dark un-lit parts still have plenty of details. Good work, and nice composition.

Cheers,

hugo

Absolutely wonderful capture of light, Dave. I have a few that I haven't posted yet, and I'm on the same wavelength with you, only I couldn't go into a barn, mine are taken from the outside. I love the bits of light coming through the cracks and your unusual perspective. Creative and original! Ina
