Such a shuttereffect always makes water look so magical:-) dreamy in between the rough green rocks.
Best wishes

Nice study in gradations. I would consider punching the contrast just a touch. Perhaps cropping a touch of the sky would also reinforce the horizontal banding. Additionally, A tight crop of the sky develops a sense that the mountains are extending into infinity. Leaving just the lowest cloud seems a nice balance between the sky and the darkest section of mountains.

Very nice shot.

I like how you filled the frame with the balloon, and the pattern is quite interesting and gives it the look of an abstract piece. Cool shot~

Hmmm. At 1/15th you must have been using a tripod... And that's great depth of field for F/11. The macro lens I used for the flower you kindly commented on has 100mm focal length, which lets me get back a bit from the flowers but has a very shallow depth of field. Lovely lighting and gentle colouring against that dark background. Very nice! I must try something similar...

I see no one commented on this one so I will. I like the texture of the wood and the blue stressed paint. Obviously you couldn't control the placement of the bird, but he's uncomfortably close to the break in the blue plank. Its like the balance of the photo gets a little thrown off.

cheers,
nicole

awesome gate shot. composed very well.
I wish when I was there I would have been able to get to some better vantage points. I had only 1 day to explore when I was in SF.
