nice capture of a beautiful plane Peter, personally I would of liked to see a little bit more movement in the prop than what you've capture, just to give it a good sense of motion.

cheers Jason

Kennecott is the second largest copper producer in the United States - providing approximately 15% of the US copper needs. Today you might consider it a "goldmine" as world copper price is soaring.

Impressive pic Peter. I have never visited this place which looks to me much more man made architecture than a landscape.
Once it was a landscape but society needed to be wired as well. Let's work more on fibreglass and be more wireless in the future.

thank you for replying,as far as I remember the main diamonds mine in South Africa is more than 2 km deep and it extends horizontally more than 5km. but that one does not have an open pit, they use elevators to go down.regards.

Hello Saad, this is primarily a copper mine, though other metals are extracted as well. It has been in operation since the 1920's and has grown to more than 3/4 mile deep.

I think this is a great image! The scale/size of it is immense and well indicated by the toy looking caterpillar mining equipment. The only thing that bugs me a little is the top of the capture seems a tad bit over exposed. Otherwise, great work!

Love the contrast of colours here, plus the copping is inventive, we mostly focus on the eyes making that the most prominent feature but this works beautifully

As CC, it's difficult to photograph something that everyone else does. I don't know what these are, really. Are these fins, rotary blades, scales, sails? Are they the 'teeth' of a giant breaking wave? Whatever, it's a good angle on it. Your photo also suggests that another photo might pull back out slightly if there were more of these - whatever - structures to be seen.

I like the compo, but I woudl darken a bit the bldgs to get more texture out of it. I would also clone out on the top right the person ot black spot out of it.

Nice work!

beautiful colors. Like the twist in the lines. I think I would crop the black part of the fisheye pictures so that its a square.
