Awesome self portrait Deepti! This image is really enhanced by the colour and texture of the stone. The lighting is excellent too and the pose is very striking too! Well done.
Cheers

Deepti,

Thanks for your comment on my pix. Yeah it is true Suvomoy and me are friend and live in same old Calcutta. He quite Usefilm due to Karma/Charisma point system suddenly changed by the host without notice and infact we both were on verge of getting eligiblity to submit 3 & 2 pictures per day, respectively. Posting in this forum is a fun to both of us as well as other members like you. We are capable of taking different kind of pictures everyday for our profession and noen of them are useless, we hope. Me also post pix at this forum not regularly now. However, we both are making blueprint of a website individualy. Now, I have gone thru your pix, very simple yet very interesting subjects you choose. This one is unique with a straight horizon with a curved railing. Perfect 10. Thank you again for your interst on my pictures.

You have a very good eye for finding interesting and beautiful subjects, I like this composition even if in a little format and a bit blurred, very pleasant contrast and B&W range, it's a pity you don't post more images. Bye Max

Nice one! The so many lines of this stairs and how the exposure makes this photo looks like a very old one, gives also an 'abstract' result on this photo. Pretty nice Deepti!

Diggin' the fading sharpness and the movement. It works really well at this size too. I can easily see this with a large white matt and think black frame.

Good composition but unfortunately, your web cam does not deliver a good resolution. Otherwise it would have been a nice shot.

The concept is good, and the execution even better. Good pose, good background. I like the sweep in the stone framing the shadow.
