Great perspective of a Palladio's style palace.

Like the POV and the light in this night shot.

Congrats.

Great job, Amy, especially on your first night outing. I have a similar courthouse shot in my portfolio. Buildings are enjoyable at to shoot night.

Congratulations on your DoD award.

Best wishes,
Dave

Beautiful composition with the flowers along the fence line and that lovely sky framed by the trees. These flowers are the single bloom variety of the common orange daylily. I have these and the double-bloom variety in my back yard.

I really like how the darkness of the hills separates the real thing from its reflection.

Stunning landscape. I don't think you missed the mark at all with this composition. Some see things differently than what the photographer sees and trys to portray. I see what you saw. The lovely earth tones of the field under a gorgeous sky. I think the tree adds much interest to the scene. This is a beautiful shot that you can be proud of.

I love it. The old weathered barn behind the fence with beautiful skies overhead is simply wonderful! Excellent photography work, Amy.

Amy, what a treasure you have here. A beautiful shot of child and dog. I bet Isabel can get away with anything with this dog.

I really like the openess of this picture. I think the composition is good, especially for the title. Plus this way you get the pretty fluffy clouds spread across the sky.

The color is wonderful. Yes, you might have gotten closer to the tree. Still, a good shot.

Just had a look at Sugar Creek Covered Bridge, and buddy, you know plenty! I'll try it that way next time I'm out there. The point for me was the color in the field more than the tree. I thought the tree added a bit of visual interest. Sometimes we miss the mark!

Thanks for the suggestion - very helpful.

Vos photos récentes sont très estivales et laissent à les regarder, presque entendre les cigales ; en français je crois que vos lilies sont des ?belle d'un jour? (hémérocalles) mais je ne pourrais le jurer.

Wow... Amy. What a great night shot. Excellent exposure that caught everything at 8:45p.m.(by the tower clock). Love that moon over the courthouse.

The B&W adds a nice touch. I also like the angle this was taken at, as it prevented it from being boring.
