Hello Keven,
This image was converted to b&W in photoshop using the Channels and layers. I did burn and dodge certain sections of the sky and dodged the dominent rock formation.

Nice combination of elements in this shot Joseph & like the overall tonality on this part of Arches NP. The only thing I can suggest is correcting the tilted horizon line, otherwise well captured.
