this appeals to me simply because I do believe that certain colors of green are the best color translation of death...great use of DOF to define the image...

wow vivid colurs thats a great sky but i dont think u need the water at the bottom of it just a thought the pic would be as good without it

The print actually does have much more sharpness. It's because I have yet to find a way to scan my prints with a quality comparable to the original.
If anyone knows any tricks, then I would love to hear them.

Neat idea... the composition is well seen... I expect there is more detail in both the highlights and the shadows in the print... but the high contrast works well.

This is a close-up with some real interest, almost an abstract. I enjoy the blur of colors in the background juxtaposed with the sharp focus of the ladybug. I think I really like it because it is not your typical nature macro shot. For some reason it has a musical feel to it.
