you know, there is a lane along the lake where peeople strolled by yesterday night. so for security reasons (my guess) they installed some lights in the treetops. I didn't see that first, as I was focussed on the opposite lakeside. so, to my surprise I discovered "golden leaves" after exposing...¦-)and yes, it harmonizes perfectly.

what a shot!
the short depth of field works extremely well, and the angle at which you have framed the pic makes the foliage and clouds seem to converge at some point. what is amazing as well is the tonal separation of the leaves in the foreground. did you use a green filter to achieve this? the eye naturally leads to the centre of the picture which again is the result of a perfect composition.

Very wonderful image, that black and white looks so great, so full of atmosphere and so calm. I really love swss nature and even I have taken really a lot of images in Swiss Alps, any of them looked so nice in black and white. Great job, great point of view and nicely composed, I really like this image very much.
