I agree with the previous comment. Death shouldnt be avoided just because it is scary an sad. I have a daughter who died one week old so I can really feel this photo.

I like the light here and the shadows from the fence which lead the eyes nicely through the scene. Well done.

Very gorgeous shot of an equally gorgeous doggy, in this perhaps humiliating position, hehe. Nice work with the exposure and contrast levels, they are great.

The feeling is captured very well. I like the grain and the kind-of open composition. The tones are lovely on the girl, very well done craig.

This scene is a little too busy - the carver is a shadowy figure, the extension cords and equipment are a distraction from the carvings, etc. I'd like to see other shots from this roll...

i see what u are trying for Craig but it is tricky to pull off. Keep working on this....try a max depth of field or a very specific point of focus and see what u come up with. Look for shapes inside the trees.

Why I call it a nice shot.

If you look at the Pic. you will see many things. Whatever, you will immediate understand, that the center of attraction is the girl. The person who made it did not want to be seen. Seeing the Pic as a Portrait, I will call it aa amateur shot. But as a spy, it is a good one. and that is the way i look at it.
