Wow, it's the most crazy floral photo I 've ever seen! I feel dizzy 
Now I change my opinion that for taking photos of flowers we do not need a wide angle lens. I thought that that only macro and tele lens are good, but you proved that 10.5mm lens is a great tool to show nature.

Excellent Hiroaki - I like the picture as it is and dont think it needs more contrast. The title describe it - consciousness - I think it all depends on the viewers perspective or mood ie. how conscious he/she wants to be. The more focussed you are, the clearer the image of the mantis becomes. Great concept!

very nice composition, looks like they're all in the right place in the image.... great vanishing point without lines... the eyes goes from bird in the lowest part of the image to the top most.

I wonder why was it put in Critiquer's corner by the way. This is a SIMPLE but very STRONG picture. I can sense some ZEN in this image, really. The gradient of green color, and then something pop out in the middle really made this picture a pleasing image. really love this one. I love the abstract feeling this image gives me. Very nice use of shallow DoF.
