This one reminds me a photo from Miguel Rio Branco, a great brazillian photographer from Magnum Photos. Very good choice in b/w and it has a strong sad feeling.

Thanks J! LOL! I guess that english is better to write and read for me! I do understand (or maybe not! LOL) what you wrote. Do you mean that it´s better to rid of the green of the bush?

Hi James. Thanks by the comment. I´m sorry hearing that you are not seeing birds where you are. What happens?
I´ll try with more saturation with the camera settings, not on ps. But this is the natural color of this bird.
About the background you are right. This was my first try with this birds and I´ll try it again with some colorful cloth. Thanks again!

Piero, if I did the translation of 'troppo finta' right it means too much fake. Well, it´s fake because it´s photoart and digital.
It have not to be criticize as photo, but as manipulation. Do you understand it? Art has not to be real.

Oi Fernando.

Excellent Macro. Just a little more USM and this will sing (or just run a soft sharp brush over the bee). I also do like the black bg.

Thanks rahim. Actually it?s a butterfly (from Brazil). It?s very fast, that is why the wings are blurred even with 1/320s. I had luck in keeping its head on focus.

Almost minimalistic. The comp is working very, very well and the white helps a lot the shot. I just would like to burn the shadows on the path track to make it more effective and anchor a little bit more the comp. Anyway, it?s unique and beautiful. Congratulations !

I do like it Marc. Maybe if you have an eye contact might be better. I do like the focus on her right eye. My suggest on this one is to burn the midtones a little bit, or adjust the levels. It?s a little too bright for my taste.
Anyway, sure, is good.

Nice one Poppy. Good colors and comp. If I may suggest anything is to add a little bit of USM to bring the shot to life. If you could make it a little bit more sharpe, it?ll really pop from the screen !

Great detail and color Reidar. A little bit more room on the bottom would be nice, but not a big deal, really. The lightening is just perfect. I?m going to the other so write the same thing. LOL.
