Please excuse the duplicate comments... The server software is a little bit stubborn

Just discovering your great portfolio - each picture is a subtle conversation, a story which you evoke in the imagination of the viewer. Simply good...

Wow... not far from superlatives! I am just looking amazed on this wonderful eye-catcher... falling silent...

Thank you!

Oh... wonderful and original art! The patterns of the fields give a nice rhythm to the picture even if there is some blurry effect. Thank you for sharing another skillful "experiment".

Hm... the horizont is not horizontal Perhaps that helps the stones to "fly", which is the disturbing impression of that picture. - A quite stunning colour range in the darkness of the stones!

Thanks for the subtle philosophical innuendo!

Hmm... indeed very mysterious. One tries to get hold in this picture with the eyes and mostly in the foreground one starts sinking. The perspective looks a little bit weird and also the big pine trees seem to disappear in the grass... What did you do?

Anyway, Maris, thank you for the beautiful summer picture of the nature of Estonia which corresponds well to my memories...

sleeping power... the perspective lets the big machine look like a toy, the small support of hammer like a ballerina, red and gray show the tension between activity and passivity - great semantic contrasts and a great picture!

many thanks for sharing.

The picture above is not mine and not yours - perhaps some software mistake...

Lotta, I like your portfolio very much, the monochrome images are wonderful! This picture is a little bit different, and it did provoke only one comment. Therefore I try to find out why...

Perhaps an image should tell a story, show a relationship in a very pronounced way - and you do this in most of your photos. The story in this picture could be "sky, water, buildings", but it is disturbed by many other things. The story could be "yellow - red", but again there are disturbances. The story could even be "The bridge", but one has the feeling that the bridge is far from beautiful compared to the buildings behind it.

Some idea how to tell the story "yellow - red" in my crop below... (with some additional KGB tools

Kindest regards, Daniel

David, thank you for the picture which helps to bridge the distance. I am deeply distressed about the catastrophe and my thoughts are with you and the children, women and men around you.

Really enjoyable to stop at this picture and to discover... The contrasts between areas and lines, monochrome and multicolored, the complementary colours, rigid and moving, it tells many stories to the gourmet. Thanks a lot!

Heaven? Strangely enough, this austere building is a church which cannot be seen easily from the outside. Hopefully the believers inside (and outside) will be some window to heaven...
