Excellent!!! i read some of the other comments. What i first saw of the girl was not so much a hard life(drugs, pros. etc) but my first thought was of rape, and of innocence broken.

Very Nice, I like your thoughts. reminds me of what i wrote a few years back with this picture. I enjoy your Portfolio.
Thank you for sharing

The Bench.....
At first glance you may think oh it is just a worn out bench, But when i looked at the bench I could see memories, and stories. I see a mom with her little girl waiting for the bus to take her to kindergarten. A grandmother watching the little ones play, just as one brings her a wildflower. I see a father and child, as they sit together, getting their fishing poles strung with bait, and the grandfather who so carefully weaves a basket. Sisters who watch their mom enjoy the bluebonetts. I see a father take his loving arms and wraps them around his daughter in her most mournful moment. I see lovers holding hands talking of things, being able to see the love in their eyes, and in their smiles.

But mostly I see my self sitting on the bench watching the sun go down, and dreaming of being that sister, mother and grandmother, and daughter, and of being that lover to my best friend as we make our own memories and stories on the bench.

This was actually taken during a Seige of our building by a man being chased by the police, he came in to our place of work and held up there for about 13 hours, no hostages and no one hurt, but the building was a mess.

Thanks for the comment
