Hugo! Mooi effect met een macrolens. Blijft heerlijk scherp spul.
Verder alles goed?

Hi Mica,
This billboard featured in the appocalyptic final scene from Highlander (the original one...)
Great to see it again!

I don't mean to insult her;o), but she more of a Meg Ryan feel... (before lipsurgery ofcourse. The way we used to like her...;o)

Hi Hugo,
Absolutely typical shot for Josien! I'm starting to get very jealous over your flashunit deluxe...

LOL, Hi John, it was pretty painful dancing with a window frame in my head! The red glare is a glow-in-the-dark broach all the ladies were given at the party, and no I wasn't smiling but I was having a very good time!
Hello everybody, it's been a while. Been painting the house for over three weeks, just to get it finished before going to spain on holiday. See what we can shoot there...
Cheers,
Eric

Tack sharp! I'm interested in the quality of this lens. Can you tell me what the zoom you used, and what PS, because it looks as sharp as a razor?
Thx in advance
Cheers

Hi Adrian,
I can almost feel her desire to step out of that "window", into another world. Very strong.
I believe you've made a well based career choice with graphical design, because you definately understand what "makes a picture work"!

Hi Luisa,
Beautiful capture. It has almost every shade of blue. The hills seem to float in the clouds, with only the forest putting them back into perspective. I was wondering what they would do without the presence of the trees to the right. See attached.
By any means a mystical moment ;o)

Hi Paula,
Nope it's not. It's the third in a triptych called Caps, and it's exactly what it is, a cap (baseballcap, that is...) It's the stitching on the rim, shot with a macro 1:1 lens at minimal DOF;o)

Nice pose. Maybe a wider crop with hand and both feet would give it a bit more complete feel. Also the overexposion to the left is a bit distracting.

LOL, Aren't we the impatient one ;o) In fact, it's just what the title says it is. More DOF would maybe make a better shot, but would probably also give it away too easy.
Cheers

I see what you mean, and was actually thinking about taking out the reflection, but I think it would take away the capsule-effect a bit to much
Thank for your tip anyway ofcourse!

Riny,
It's a "reprint" of an earlier upload, only blown out in contrast, since that first one was a bit soft.

Problem was clutter all around it...so wider frame wasn't such a fitting option.
I missed the top aate the actual shot( Must have been a little gust of wind...

Howie,
Thank you very much. I think I understand what you mean, but I have no doubt she would kick me out within a week if I held a reflector next to her head all day, because this was somewhat of an candid shot;o)

Appeltje, eitje!

Hi Hugo,
Ofcourse the trip was good, just too damn short! That's why were going back in august.
To be honest I was pestered out of bed by musquitos. They seem to like me a lot (for nutritional reasons only)
I thought I heard you were going to do the photography?

DOF was intentional this time. I think it even brings out the eyes even more.
I agree with the crop though..
