i can't explain why the upper part is tilted. i suppose it has something to do with the angle i was holding the camera and distortion from the lens (maybe?) as for getting a D200, its a great choice for a camera. i personally use a Nikkor 17-55mm F2.8 and a 70-200mm F2.8 VR. these are great lenses, however they are expensive. sigma and tokina make nice alternatives, but if you can afford it, get Nikon glass!

Rob, this is a great photo. the use of a split ND filter would make it stronger. the rocks are slightly underexposed vs. the trees/sky. keep up the great work

it was harsh light, a 2k tungstun light. this picture was taken for a lighting class, and i left her eyes blue, just goofing around. i never had any intention of using "shock value" with this photo, i'm quite confused at your opinion on that...

Exposure it perfect! only suggestion i have (that i have learned from other usefilm'ers is to compose so that the horizon is not placed in the center of the frame...otherwise, i am ready for vacation!!!

Louise, you have the most amazing wedding photos. the exposure, composition, and mood they create are astonishing. Any advice you have to a newcomer to wedding photography would be appreciated!
