Grrrr!

I love this shot! Somehow, seeing a raccoon this mad makes me laugh Great capture!

Great composition and interesting color. I've never seen greenish fog before. The fog really gives the image added depth, since the light in the distance isn't as clear as the one in the foreground. Excellent job.

Great subject. Is this before or after the Guinness?

I think the only thing that would improve this would be to level the image out. I'm not sure the angle of the fence adds anything to the composition (but that's just my preference). Otherwise, the lighting and tones are excellent!

Cheers,
T.

I wonder what's around the corner...

Great composition and lighting. The textures at the bottom of the wall really enhance the scale of the image.

Excellent job!

Great creative use of TV as a light source! The blue cast enhances the beauty of the subject.

Awesome job!

Excellent composition, as the line of the stairs connects the woman to her destination. The woman climbing the stairs also gives an effective sense of scale, and the image wouldn't have been nearly as dramatic without her in it.

A tad overexposed - the wall in the left foreground is missing a bit of detail - but this is overall an excellent image.

Hell hath frozen!

What a great subject! This photo would be perfect if you were to crop out the excess grey in the background, and re-compose to show the end of the icicle in the foreground.

Great shot!

I really like the perspective of this image. It's a great POV shot with good detail and tone. I think it may benefit from greater depth-of-field, but that's just my opinion. Overall, a great, creative shot.

Did you take this at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma? If so, I need to get myself there

Great range of colors and shapes. The details are really sharp, too. It reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope, which is always fun. Awesome shot!

I really like this shot. It isolates the plasma and captures the colors really well. I probably would have cropped it to emphasize the vertical line, but that's just me

Overall, the sharpness and color are first rate! Great job!

I dunno. I kinda like it. It sure beats Harvest Gold and Avocado of the 70's (blech).

Good shot, by the way!

I think "Camera-shy Flower" would be a suitable title This is an interesting and creative perspective!

Beautiful colors on the petals, and I'm impressed with the sharpness as well.

Nicely done!

Peace,
T.

Story of my life. I've been waiting for a model for over 20 years, and one hasn't shown up yet

The tone and location of this photo are outstanding. I'm definitely getting a cold and lonely vibe from this one.

Excellent shot.

Good action shots are tough. You nailed this one! Perfect focus and exposure, and the subject is isolated really well. Excellent job!

The lines and the lighting in this piece are great! The warm glow of the light alone hints at catastrophe outside the image as it could very well be the light of pompeii burning.

Excellent job!

This photo oozes with decay! How perfect! Nice flat light and the choice to go b/w really add to the impact.

Clever idea to have the skeleton peeking around from the background.

Nicely done!

Okay, I'm usually not into the stereotypical cute little kid shots, but this one just makes me smile! It's too cute for words! :O) Perfect conveyence of the moment, and great framing!

I really love this shot. Excellent job!

Veeery nice colors and composition. The way the light is hitting the car makes the colors of the shadow and illuminated portions very complimentary.

The composition is great, as is the resolution of the image.

Unfortunately, I can't help but focus beyond the statue and into the bright sky. I think this would be a great image if there was more definition, texture and contrast in the clouds.

Overall, a good job.

That is a very green turtle

The details in his (her?) shell are very striking and wonderfully rendered in this image.

In the right light, a straight-down perspective would be really interesting, too.

Beautiful composition and colors! I got chilly just looking at it :O)

I love the way the ice is isolated by the fog. It really adds strength to the composition!

Awesome job!

I'm really drawn to monochromatic shots, and this is a good one.

I think the only criticism I have is that it would have been a more compelling image if you had filled the frame more with the subject, or had cropped some of the additional white space around it.

Overall, I like it! Good work!

Ah, yes. An exercise in patience.

Very creative idea, and great capture! Your choice of aperture is really effective here, as the DOF is just right for the subject.

How long did you have to wait between shots? It looks as though the light changed slightly between exposures because the right image looks a little more exposed than the left. It's not enough to detract from the image, but it is noticeable.

Great job!

Cosmin, you have a good eye for the abstract. The sharpness and composition in this image are great. I personally think the darkness in the upper left lends itself to the abstract nature of this image, as the water droplets stand out in really sharp contrast.

Iterestingly, I'm guessing you could probably achieve a really similar result using color film as well as B&W (which is what I'm assuming you used here), given the monochromatic nature of the subject.

Well done!

Excellent! I would put this on my wall (one of them, anyway I love the way the candle light glows inside the curled pages to make this an overall warm image. Very creative. What's the book written in? Italian?

This picture makes me smile because the dog looks so happy!

This is one of those shots that would have benefitted from more saturated color, though. A brighter red dog against a deeper blue sky would have been awesome (or maybe it's just the sky that's washing out the rest of the image?). To be fair, I don't think there's much you could have done about the sky, since it seems to be covered in high clouds.

I looked at your other photos, and this one seems to be an anomoly, since the colors in your other (film) shots are well saturated.

Good sharpness and definition, though. The fact that you can see the seams in the balloon is impressive.

Interesting shot. The red sky is particularly effective in conveying the mood.

I'm interested to know a couple things:
1. Did you achieve the red sky with a filter, or did you PS it? Either way, it looks great!

2. How did you achieve the vignetting effect? Were you shooting into the sun?

Great exposure and subject, although the image seems to be tilted a bit to the left. Focus is top notch, but I'm guessing you were trying for shallow DOF?

Of course, this could just be a PS'd image of the inside of your lens-cap, and you've got us all fooled.

I love this image! Even if the color version had worked out, I think the black-and-white image is much more effective, especially with the contrast between shadow and light on the road.
