Lovely macro you've got here and great use of color! I like the contrast of the yellow on the stones and the purple on the starfish. ) Thanks for sharing!

Is she a mannequin? Because you sure did make her look like one! I love the dated feel to it, but her face, and the smoothness of it, along with her piercing eyes evokes an uneasiness in me... Great DOF and use of shadow and light and patterns... I just can't stare at it for too long! haha Thanks for sharing. It's definitely more than a fashion statement you're making - this one is a topic starter, IMHO!

I love it. It has an abstract feel to it and I'm thinking that is what you were going for. It definitely is an "alternative perspective". It's as if all of the headstones were on one plane. You managed to make a three dimensional world look two dimensional. Excellent eye. Thank you for sharing!

Wow... I just wanted to say that, but Usefilm is making me write a longer critique. Excellent capture. Definitely an "at the right place, at the right time" kind of shot!

Excellent portrait, although I do have to agree with Amanda about the details of the black so that your portrait of your favorite model doesn't look like a bust. ) Thanks for sharing, Scott and thank you for your comment on my work.

Lovely capture, Scott! This looks like something I'd find in a magazine to accompany a profile on your subject.

Joel, this is an awesome still life. There is so much detail in the textures of the lemon and the lighting is perfect. It adds to the "oldness" of the lemon. Congrats on getting FPD and thank you for your comments on my work. I truly enjoy seeing your style through your macros and through your use of lighting. THanks for sharing. )

Dennis, this is beautiful! I love the rich colors and textures. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the tilted horizon. But that might just be a personal preference. Thanks for sharing it! )

Congrats to you on getting BIP Derek! I love broccoli... And I like macros! This is an excellent piece of work. It makes me think of horny toads or an extraterrestrial being. The dominant image really caught my eye with the shallow DOF. Thanks for sharing and thank you for commenting on mine. )
