The image was a bit flat (lacking in contrast) for my taste. I also would have preferred a slightly different perspective that would lead to a little less distortion in the left side foreground. I submit an image "corrected" for contrast but not distortion

Sylvia: I like this image,(color & texture) but wonder if it might be ienhanced by putting more emphasis on the iron work and less on the surroundings. Here is one possibility. Best to you.

Your point is well taken. One of my early influences (1970+/-}was Pete Turner who did a great job with vibrant color. A 16x24 print of this image almost jumps off the page. It is what one one might call "super aggressive". It was an expirment with a program (Photomatrix 3) and I like it.
