I was just talking about this flower today at work, how uncanny!

Thanks Jason, it was most definately an experience I don't wish to repeat, but in saying that, I felt obligated to take photos so people could understand how dramatic it all is. Where abouts are you now in Melb?

Thank you Jacques, the water was taken from a dam, it was quite dirty and drenched a few of us who were around the area at the time.

Thanx Gary, but I had to sacrifice the camera to take it. Let's just say, it was rather damp when I got home.
:)
Cheers.

Hi Mesut, thank you for your comment.
It was a tragic day to say the least, and to think that two of the fires were set deliberately!
They have caught one of the people responsible today.

Thank you Paul, it was quite disturbing, seeing the fires first hand. :(

.... don't forget the many more that will die after developing mesothelioma from all the asbestos particles in the air at the time of collapse. Unfortunately, some New Yorker's will realise their fate 15 years down the track. The true toll is not known as of yet.
Wittenoom, in Western Australia is a classic example of what exposure to asbestos can do to a community.

This is an amazing photo my friend.
Don't know how you convinced the owner of that car to let a model perch on it!

Thank you Sam.
I wish I had the opportunity to take this idea to the next level.
Start off with a professional photo, and spend more than 2 hours on the editing.
But with the photo at hand, I am very pleased with the result.

Thanks Paul. Couldn't agree with you more, she is very pretty, her personality more importantly is equally attractive.
In most cases, you get one or the other, luckily I got both!
FYI, there's more than 80 individual layers in that photo, each manipulated and twisted to create the image you see before you.
Time consuming, yet effective to say the least.
:)
Take care.

Thank you for commenting Mitra Nademi-Nassari.
In the original photo, my girlfriend had just walked into my house, escaping the storm that was brewing outside.
Her hair was blown all over the place, which was the basis of my editing.
:)
Take care my friend.
