A wry self-portrait, Ash, and very much you. Love your humor, girl.

Yeah, they are supposed to be random because I am random.

Hehe, the shots by themselves are fun and funny, but with the about they are hilarious (even though, gotta admit, if it's not just meant to be random..went straight over my head. Oh well, I'll just laugh at the randomness of it )
The poles not lining up - I'm not sure it matters. In fact, it's probably better that they don't :P Nice work Ashley!

una coloristica davvero impressionante, ben equilibrata e di effetto: sperimentando si impara, e sicuramente tu sperimenti in molti scatti...
buon lavoro davvero...

I do have a scanner for negatives (I don't know why I have it but...it's there), does that change anything?

Haha...I think I'm going to be buying most of my photography stuff. I have some money saved up, though, so it's not a problem.

Rudy looks like he's dreaming of Southern California sun - LOL. Nice shot of the dude. Anyway, help on Camera w/ film. I would shoot slide film (Fuji Velvia 100). Why slide (or positive)? because what you shoot is what you get.If you shoot negative the local lab could print it to their own adjustments in colors, contrast, etc. which might not show you the true image you took. Slide film teaches you to be very accurate. Forget getting a slide projector. Just get a light table and a Lupe. I recommend the Peak 4x. Learn to analyse your work with that set up.Now go to it Girl - put your order in with Santa before it's too late. Mark

la tua modella è un pò troppo provocante e maliziosa...
guarda come ammicca all'obbiettivo, adagiata sul letto, con il suo vestitino in latex nero....
;-)
uno scatto molto simpatico...

A Nikon EM...is that right? It looks like it has a default lens and a telephoto lens. I can't wait to use the telephoto!

Any recommendations on what kind of film I should start out with?

i'm sorry to hear about your breakdowns, that must have been hard. I hope your well now. You mentioned awhile ago about sending me a web page about something like the 3rd rule or 3rd dimension on photography and just wondering if you have found the page. Andrew

Yes, I'm glad to be back. I can't wait for everyone to see my project!
School was good, albeit stressful. I got to where I was sick, stressed, and overworked. Had a few mental breakdowns. You know, the usual. Actually, I'm not even kidding when I say that. My school is a high stress environment. But I like it that way. :P

Yes, I haven't had much time for photography. There was definitely something missing in my life.
School is great. A's and B's. Oh, and I just found out yesterday I'm eligible for a national merit scholarship! It's very exciting.
