Great minimalist composition. The clouds make a great backdrop for the silhouette of the tree limb.

This is nice, Reza - I missed it when I was browsing before. I just feel that the bottom part of the picture might have been cropped a little.

I love this... it really does have a lonely mood about it... though the beauty still shines through... I can see every blade of grass here.. perfect photo.

Lonelyness... is something you only feel when you have not yet learned that you can live with yourself... once you find your true self you will never feel lonely again )

Like this photo... a place so abandoned by life... yet in it you can see the beauty of life... lonelyness does not exist unless you want it to.

Thanks for your comment on my photo.

this is such a beautifully strong picture. I don't agree with the actions, but I agree, it needs to be seen. Thank you for your kind words. The girl in the photos is me. And yes, Im "an aspiring photographer" of 16. Keep up the lovely work.

Hey there,
This is cute. Now for a little constructive critique :-) .

I was going to say that maybe you could remove the objects in the background, but on second thought that would make it seem like less of a candid shot, as though the cat were placed there on purpose, which obviously it was not. So I like the objects in the background. :-)

I'm not sure if this is on purpose or not, but it seems like the focal point is not where I would imagine it should be...I think in such an image one should put the cat's eyes in focus. Especially since you can tell that the cat has some great catchlights going on there.

Anyway, other than that I like the framing and lighting.
Cheers!

Actually, yes I am a cyclist, assuming you consider a commuter a cyclist. I commute to work/school every day on the bike and I love every minute of it. Thanks for the comments.

I love this shot. I don't necessarily mind the flatness, but the work done by Michael makes it a very very nice shot instead of a very nice shot.

Keep up the good work Reza! Thanks for your comments on my photos.

Are you a cyclist yourself?
Cheers,
Marc

Adorable capture! Cats always seem to find the most unusual places to hang out. I find mine in some pretty bizarre places. You have a very beautiful cat.

Cats always find the perfect place - this was unusual because they don?t like water and they know from where it comes. Great capture Reza!

God doesn't hate anybody, and he doesn't talk like that either... Anyway, excellent shot! Good capture.

I wonder what those people are accomplishing by adding more hate.

There is a group around here against abortion that stands in town and holds up big signs of cut up bloody babys. I don't know whats wrong with them.

Yes, that has been my main point I've tried to convey through a lot of my photography. In the SW, we're in dire need of water. The problem is that, now the government has built a dam on the Rio Grande to redirect water for municipal use. The dam will destroy acres upon acres of cat tail marshes and habitat for hundreds of species that depend on annual flooding. The water problem down here is a lot deeper than most admit. Thanks for your comment.
